Creating a Room

You can create a room by clicking Meebo Rooms when you are logged into Meebo Messenger or at meebo.com/rooms/create. When you create a room, you can determine the design, title, and password, and you can invite friends to start your conversation.

Moderating a Room

When you create a room, you are designated as the moderator; you have access to additional tools to help you control the behavior of participants in your room. As a moderator, you can:

• Set the password for the room. The password can be set when the room is created. Click Configure to change the password in an existing room that you have created.
• Ban users from the room. Right-click a user and select Ban to permanently ban them from the room. Note that this ban is irrevocable.
• Invite other users to be moderators. Right-click a user and select Add Moderator to give another user the power to ban users from the room. A user must be signed on to Meebo in order to be made a moderator.
