Getting Started
To get started with Meebo Notifier:
- Download and run the Notifier installer by browsing to meebo.com/notifier and then clicking Download. Open the downloaded file (MeeboNotifierSetup-Beta.exe) to start the installation wizard.
- Click through the Notifier installation wizard. Select the Custom option to determine whether the Notifier will be accessible through your Start Menu, Desktop, and/or Quick Launch bar (if you select Standard the Notifier will be available in all three places).
Sign On to an IM account. Once the installation is complete, the account login window opens. If you sign on to your Meebo account, the notifier will receive notifications from all IM accounts connected to your Meebo ID. If you sign on to any other account, you will only receive notifications from that account. Click Login to launch Meebo notifier and log in. The Meebo icon will appear on your Windows Taskbar.- Configure Meebo notifier preferences. Right click the Meebo icon in the Windows Taskbar and select Preferences to configure the behavior of the Meebo Notifier. See Settings for more information.
