I don't see a send button. How do I send my message?

There is no send button. Just press Enter on your keyboard to send a message.

If I have an AOL account can I IM someone with a Yahoo! account?

If you want to IM someone who has a Yahoo! IM account, you will need to have a Yahoo! account yourself and add your Yahoo! account to your meebo account.

I have set my status in Windows Live Messenger to "Busy", but it shows me as "Away From Computer"?

The busy presence offered by some IM networks, including Windows Live Messenger, is not supported in Meebo. Meebo will display the busy status as "away". See Presence and Status for more information.

Can I leave messages for buddies who are offline?

Meebo Messenger supports offline messages for ICQ, Yahoo!, Google Talk, MySpace, and Jabber. Windows Live Messenger and Facebook offline messages are currently not supported.

How do I change the font size for outgoing and incoming messages?

If you open up a chat window with a buddy and change the font size within the IM window, this setting will automatically be applied for all your outgoing IMs. There is no option to change the font size of incoming messages.

I unchecked Enable IM History in my IM Settings. How come I still see my old chat logs?

If you un-check Enable IM History, the conversations that takes place after un-checking this option will not be logged, but previous chat logs will remain. You can delete old chat logs by clicking Delete All in the chat log window.

My buddy doesn't see the emoticons I send. They see text instead.

The Meebo emoticons only work within Meebo Messenger. Buddies who are using other tools will see either text or images from the tool they are using. For example, “:D” and “:)” will appear as images in Yahoo! Messenger whereas the pirate, “P)”, will appear as text.

How can I display my ICQ screen name instead of my ICQ number for my ICQ account?

Currently, with ICQ it's not possible to display the screen name for your ICQ account.
