Once you have signed on to Meebo notifier, you will receive pop-up notifications from the Windows Taskbar whenever a buddy signs on to Meebo or IMs you. Click on one of these notifications to open Meebo Messenger. In addition, if a buddy on a connected Gmail, Yahoo!, Windows Live, or AOL account emails you, an email icon for that service will appear on your Windows Taskbar; click this icon to open the web-based email client for the relevant account.

Right-click the Meebo icon in the Windows Taskbar to open a menu with the following options:

• Open meebo.com
  Opens Meebo Messenger in your default browser. If Meebo Messenger is already open, this will bring it to the foreground.
• Sign Off/Sign On to meebo
  If you are signed on to Notifier, click Sign Off to sign off. This will also sign you off of any open Meebo Messenger session. If you are signed off of Notifier, click Sign On to meebo to sign on to Notifier. If you signed out of a Meebo Messenger session using Notifier and the browser window is still open, this will sign you back on to that session.
• Clear Notifications
  Closes any open Notifications.
• Account Settings
  Opens the Notifier Account Settings, which allow you to determine what account is connected to Notifier. See Settings for more information.
• Preferences
  Opens the Notifier Preferences, which allow you to customize the behavior of Meebo Notifier. See Settings for more information.
• About
  Displays the version information and provides a link to the latest release notes.
• Exit
  Exits Meebo Notifier. This will not affect any open Meebo Messenger sessions.
