Getting Started
Meebo for Android allows you to connect with all of your buddies on any IM network on which you have an account. It is completely free, and it takes only minutes to get started. To get started with Meebo for Android:
- Download Meebo for Android from the Android Market or by pointing Android's browser to download.meebo.com/meebo.apk and downloading and installing the Meebo application.
Start the Meebo app. Open your Android device's application menu and touch the Meebo IM icon to launch the app. In order to start chatting with people, you will need to add one or more of your existing IM accounts. To add an account, touch Add.
Enter your account information. Touch network to choose the network for the account you want to access. Enter your login information and touch Add to add the account. You will be returned to the opening screen and the account you added will appear in the list. Touch Add again to add another account. If you have already created a Meebo ID at Meebo.com adding it will allow your to access all of the IM accounts associated with it - you won't need to add those accounts separately.
Touch one of the accounts you have added to open your Buddy list. You will see all of your buddies from all your signed in accounts.- Touch a buddy row to start a conversation. The conversation screen opens.
