Signing On and Off

Signing on to the Meebo app when completely logged out

When opening the Meebo app for the first time, or when signing on after having cleared your data (see below), you will need to enter your Meebo ID and password in order to open the Meebo app. If you do not have a Meebo ID, you can create one as described in Getting Started. Once you have entered your Meebo ID and password, tap Sign In to start using Meebo.

Recovering your password

If you do not remember your password, tap the ? icon to the right of the password field to open a screen in which you can have your password emailed to you.

Signing on and off of the Meebo app without clearing your data

Once you have signed in to the Meebo app, you can sign off without clearing your account and password information. This allows you quickly go online and offline without needing to reenter your Meebo ID and password. To sign off without clearing your data, open the Accounts tab and then tap the Sign Off button underneath the presence settings.

When you sign off this way, the Meebo app will display the Offline screen. Tap Sign On to reconnect with Meebo. You will not need to reenter your user name and password information.

Signing off and clearing your data

You may want to clear your user name and password data when you sign off of the Meebo app, for example if another person is going to use your iPhone or iPod touch. To do this, open the Accounts tab, scroll to the bottom of the screen, and tap Clear my data and sign off just below the Add Account button.
