Your buddy list contains all of your contacts from all of the networks you have added to Meebo. You can start a conversation by tapping on a buddy.

How do I add a new buddy?

Meebo can be used to add a buddy who also has a Meebo account. To add a new buddy:

1. Tap the Buddies icon on the bottom toolbar.
2. Tap the + button in the upper right corner.
   A screen opens that allows you to enter the name of the buddy to add.
3. Tap Account to select a social network account.
   A scrolling list of all of the your social network accounts will appear, allowing you to choose which network the buddy you want to add is on.
4. Enter your buddy’s Meebo ID next to Buddy id.
   If you have created additional groups using meebo.com (see Managing Buddies), you can choose a group to put your new buddy in (see Working with Buddy Groups).
5. Tap Add Buddy.
   The Meebo user you added will get message asking them to confirm you as a buddy. Once they have done so, you will receive a message asking you to confirm them. Once you confirm them, you will appear in each-other’s buddy lists.

How do I remove or block a buddy?

If you block a buddy, they will be removed from your buddy list and they will no longer be able to message you. If you remove a buddy, they will be removed from your buddy list but they will still be able to message you unless you set the Only receive messages from friends option through your preferences on meebo.com.

To remove or block a buddy, tap Buddies on the bottom toolbar, then tap the buddy you want to block or remove. A screen will open showing buttons allowing you to block or remove the selected buddy.

How do I unblock a buddy?

To unblock a buddy, simply add them again as described above.
