Why Meebo?

Why join Meebo? "The people are fun, Castro street is full of good food, and the problems we solve are really meaty (who doesn't love a good C memory bug every once in a while =p). Meebo is a really special place, and everyone feels like they have a voice and impact on the product and how we deliver services and ads to our users and partners. We work very very hard and sometimes the bugs are really heinous, but at the end of the day, we really love what we do. If we need to relax, there's a rock wall nearby, a nice bike ride around the corner, and great people around to share happy hour with." -Sandy

What's Meebo like? "It's open, collaborative, and fun (really, we mean it). We've got a pretty robust process for a team at our stage (svn, QA, unit tests, good product roadmaps, and fantastic stats). Thursday is demo day where anyone can do a show-and-tell of what they've worked on. Everyone gets a round of applause and it's my favorite time of the week. It's a good time to collect feedback, give pats on the back, and find inspiration. There's also a fair amount of down-time around here with food, finger blasters, and four-square. What we're doing is crazy but we also don't take ourselves too seriously." - Elaine
