Meebo is one of the Web's fastest growing social media companies. The Meebo Bar, our flagship product, is installed on over 5,000 sites and reaches over 100 million people each month, enabling convenient sharing and communication for users and publishers across the web.
We're looking for a Product Manager to lead product development for our flagship product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, product managers, and business development to develop new features and iterate and optimize existing features.
In this key role you will:
- Own the product roadmap for key experiences of the Meebo Bar product such as sharing or communications.
- Gather and develop product requirements and prioritize features and requests for the Meebo Bar.
- Track progress against goals and success metrics.
- Optimize engagement and performance through rapid iteration and A/B testing our products
- Define and monitor key success metrics
- Conduct, summarize, and communicate competitive analysis
- Work closely with engineering, UX, and business teams to execute the product vision
- Be responsible for ensuring quality and performance of our product on publisher sites.
- Aggressively prioritize and execute quickly
Requirements:
- 4+ years of product management experience
- Engineering Degree (preferably Computer Science or similar program)
- Experience developing Internet consumer web products and technologies
- Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Detail oriented and able to see the big picture
- Ability to think out of the box while meeting the needs of users, publishers, and advertisers.
- Familiarity with social applications and platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc is a plus.
- Experience with agile or scrum methodology a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fun, friendly, and fast-paced environment with schedules measured in days rather than weeks
