Meebo has a fantastic creative opportunity for a highly imaginative Graphic Designer to develop compelling visual solutions for initiatives that incorporate Meebo’s brand and communication strategies. As part of the Creative/Marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting the organization for various document design, web, and PowerPoint-specific internal and outbound communication projects while ensuring that creative work is fresh, innovative, and embodies Meebo’s personality.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about the communication arts and will understand how to effectively craft collateral designs in order to accomplish business objectives. Successful candidates must have strong design aptitude and proven experience in branding.

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating content and design creation across a broad range including, print collateral (sell sheets & media kits), promotional, exhibit and interactive material (PowerPoint presentations & web content).
• Develop visual brand standards for Meebo internal & external communication materials.
• Create stylized graphics, info-graphics, charts, and icons from scratch.
• Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to explore and develop creative options for Meebo brand communication tools.
• Manage production and quality assurance of tangible materials produced by vendors.
• Develop PowerPoint templates and presentation materials.
• Create innovative deliverables to support sponsorship events and recruiting needs.
• Maintain content updates for internal marketing and sales tools.
• Ensure that brand identity, standards, and personality are maintained throughout the organization.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional design experience working in a collaborative design environment
• Proven creative ability in designing sales collateral, print advertising and web-based projects
• Must have a strong understanding of composition, typography, and color.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe CS4/CS5 - InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop with an emphasis on page-layout design and graphic creation
• Strong PowerPoint skills – able to create compelling presentation material utilizing animation effects to convey ideas
• Understanding of print production methods and ability to work and manage production with outside vendors
• Able to juggle multiple projects - Can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize time and communicate timeline to team members
• Ability to take creative direction and work independently and proactively
• BFA in Graphic Design or design-related field
